Hi there,
February has been a particularly busy month for ourselves as always, and there’s a few new things we’d like to let you know about.
As always we have been continuing to add new products to our webshop to help you and your business get ahead of the competition.
We also now have a twitter account which you can follow Massage Forum on, to hear the latest news from our articles, blog posts, and community forum. Similarly, we also have a Facebook fan page for the same purpose.
Speaking of the community forum, have you registered for an account yet? We’ve had a few newcomers in recent weeks and we’ve welcomed them, as we’d like to welcome you into the community. There are already a number of threads available for discussion with other massage fans. Why not stop by and introduce yourself?
For you budding massage therapists out there who have started, or are thinking of starting, your own massage business; here’s some helpful advice from one of our community members, 1BizzyBee:
“When I first started I went to the closest pharmacy to where I worked and met with the manager. We decided on making an exchange, where I would come in and massage their clients and I could leave them all my information. The weeks leading up to the date that I was to be there, they included my name and place of work in their publicity and said that I would be there on such a date. When the day came, I had a full schedule of people to massage. I got some that never had a massage, but were curious. Some came to meet me because they were looking for another therapist. Others, had pain and wanted to know my opinion, while some just came because it was free. I dedicated 1 week-end to this and can say that I got a good amount of people that walked into my clinic after. Plus, the location of where I worked was very close to where they live which is why I chose that pharmacy. Meeting people face to face is a very good way because you end being more then 1 listing in a list, not that you shouldn’t do that too.” - 1BizzyBee, Massage Forum Community.
Don’t forget about our free directory listings though!
Take care!
