Yoga enthusiasts from all over the world converged on Rishikesh in North India to attend workshops and demonstrations of the ancient art of Yoga.
Yoga has its roots in the Himalayas, a perfect setting for a purer and more rewarding lifestyle. Students attending the event refrain from alcohol and smoking and maintain a vegitarian diet.
At the annual festival, now in its twelfth year, the visitors learnt more about posture , breathing and nutrition.
